To me, winters were always a synonym for short, bone-chilling days and long, gloomy nights. I have never been a fan of the cold. The sun goes down before the end of my 9-to-5 work day, and we have to sit cuddled up in the boring evenings.

But these winter blues have turned into great fun-filled activities to beat Winter Boredom and boost my mood. With a little effort, I plan my winter evenings and weekends and prepare to enjoy them all too.

Science demonstrates that staying active can assist in warding off the winter blues. Your mind can’t think about how depressed you are while it is occupied with something else. To keep you occupied this winter, we’ve listed the fun things to do at home when bored.
